- Strengthens & corrects imbalances in legs, hips, feet & calves
- Increase mobility in feet, ankles and lower body musculature
- Corrects lower body alignment
- Restores support for weak ankles
TIPS & CUES
- Student stands on edge of chair, holding handles lightly for balance
- Keep body lined up directly over ankle throughout movement
- During bending of knees, ensure knees stays lined up with middle of foot
- Keep pelvis vertical as knees bend and straighten
