Tone and strengthen your lower body while improving the function of your hips, glutes, feet, legs and overall stability! The 4th workout in Carrie Russo’s Activate the Essentials series will change your gait and overall balance. You’ll wake up the supporting muscles in your feet, calves and hips that give us control with stretching and strengthening exercises you can do every day. For one exercise Carrie uses a piece of wood to hang the heels off of. You can use a stair or a thick book or do the exercise without the lift which is still very effective so memorize it and do it whenever you think of it for better lower body function.
