Simona begins this class with a quick history about the Swedish Bars and then leads an informative and enjoyable session that's appropriate for beginners. You'll massage your feet, stretch your legs, lower back, shoulders and hips and improve your strength and coordination with climbing, hanging and stabilizing exercises. Note that it's useful to wear sneakers or sticky socks for most of this session to prevent slipping off the bars while climbing. Visit Simona at her studio The Art of Control at SUNY Purchase.

I recently added double Swedish Bars to studio which have gone mostly unused. I will be practicing on them daily then begin to incorporate them into teaching clients. Thanks Simona and Marcelo.

Those bars are terrific and that is a great video to showcase all that can be done with them. Thank you very much! On a totally different note, what are those fabulous shoes you are wearing Simone? They look great!

Wow this is awesome thanks so much Simona! I love the foot corrector elements I have many older clients with arthritic feet that find the foot corrector too strong at times. I like the lowest bar being offset like that as well as the top. I have been considering purchasing a set of Swedish bars for my studio, what brand do you have in your studio?

Thank you Simona and Marcelo for showing us a great variety of exercises! I enjoyed the idea of using the bars for a postural assessment tool.
