    Hi Alisa,

Thank you for this wonderful sequence.

I would like to know if you could post a video that focus pilates warm-up sequences that would prepare for any workout

    Regards,
    Herzy

This was great! Is there a video that is just the straight beginning classical mat sequence ?

This was perfect for this morning. One of those disjointed mornings where the alarm clock acts up, the internet is slow and the oatmeal boils over. I feel like I’ve rerouted a day that could be one irritation after the next and turned it in a fresh direction. Thanks Alisa!

That’s our new studio space, thanks for noticing!
That little bounce in the squat is something I learned from Jay Grimes and it does feel like something Joe would have taught, it’s great for warming up the joints for sure. Thank you for your note on my breathing, I do try to focus on inhaling and exhaling deeply but I’m not purposely trying to do it audibly, I think it’s just that the microphone picks up the sound a bit louder when I’m in the 100 position because I’m breathing right into it :). It’s always a pleasure to have you in class with me Colin, thanks for writing in today!!

Lovely looking shining Studio – Very Posh!
    1. The gentle bounce at the bottom of the Squat is a photo-image of what one imagines Joe Pilates would do don’t you think.
Like that to encourage the release you get in the ankles, knees and hips joints, especially, when you are old as I am!
    2. The emphasis you put on breathing, and breath as you do Alisa, for the HUNDRED, and as you demonstrated in your early Advanced Mat DVD, is challenging, and really adds a whole new dimension to the exercise. With quietly breathing as normally seen, it is not the same exercise.
    3. Beautiful execution.
