Alisa leads a quick workout with tips that will help you roll up better and work more deeply in your core while opening the chest and shoulders. If you don't own a professional Pilates mat, it's easy to mimic the one in this video by using your furniture instead. Learn how anchoring your feet strengthens your abs (use your couch if you're at home) and reaching your arms back for certain exercises gives your upper body a fantastic stretch (try holding the legs of a heavy chair). Alisa also uses a short, weighted bar for one exercise; substitute a broom handle or 2 pound arm weights (or do it without the bar).
