I wanted to Heart or Star this so I could come back later and re-do and/or take notes!

Hi! There’s a favorites heart at the bottom right just under the video. If you click that you’ll be able to find it in the ‘My Pilatesology’ tab that you see at the top of your screen when you’re logged in 😀.

Can you see it? I still don’t.
I’m using the newest ver. of Safari.

        • Alisa Wyatt Author

Oh dear, I’m sorry–there’s a glitch on this video, we’re fixing it so stay tuned for the heart to reappear!

        • Alisa Wyatt Author

Ok all fixed! Thanks for letting me know 🙂

I refreshed my screen. I don’t see it. Do you? What’s right above it?
            I’m in Safari.

Darn, would you mind clearing your history and trying again? This was a sitewide glitch so I don’t know if your browser is saving an old version of the site and not seeing the fix. Let me know if that works.

Hi there – I cleared my cache and my history (separately) and I still don’t see a change (but wow, clearing the history took a loonng time). I exited Safari and reopened.
I’m using Safari, did you see the change in effect in Safari.

Also, I noticed I couldn’t reply to your newest response so I’m responding to this one.

Hi, quick question, why does my left calf muscle pull when im performing the rollup or roll down, since we are told to keep the legs and feet together and slide them forwards?

    • Alisa Wyatt Author

      Hi SalPilates,
Gosh I don’t know why that would be happening. It’s really common for calf and foot muscles to cramp in Pilates if you’re dehydrated or if tension just goes to that area. So perhaps that’s the answer–unnecessary tension or need for a little extra water?

This video is awesome for revisiting The Basic 7 Pilates Mat exercises. The cuing is spot on and takes you inside of your body so you can feel every muscle that should be working! Alisa explains every part of the exercises clearly, so you never doubt that you are doing it correctly!
