The most underused skeletal muscles are the ones in your seat. There’s several key muscles back there and in this episode Sandy covers how your side glutes should feel when you’re using them correctly. On the Short Box (and many other moves needing better connections) I see the students connect more quickly to the circle’s sensation, sparing them too many repeated vocal reminders. And for me, the upper circle in the Tree and pushing out vs over drawing in is presently freeing my low back in leg circles! Very excellent and easy use of the Magic Circlet o prime the exercises!

    Dear ewapilates,

Thank you for tuning in and for your dedication to building your knowledge as a teacher through Pilatesology. I, for one, feel very lucky to have Pilatesology to share my teaching with people like you, and I am so grateful to Alisa and Jack for including me in their roster of excellent classical teachers from all over the world!

At any point: please; give us more and more and more of Sandy’s teaching; She (You, Sandy!) combines all of everything valuable, indispensable, wise, beautiful, and …. you name it! The Teacher of the Teachers:) Please, Pilatesology: while providing us with some new and fresh Italian students and their work – NEVER FORGET about the The Anchors; Sandy, Kathi RN, Alycea Ungaro; there’s been so little from them on Pilatesology recently. KRN and Alycea have been active at PILATES ANTIME over summer; Jack once told me … where are they? Please, rise up to your standards! Love to watch Jay! Time is passing …. where is Jay; we love Jay, please ..:) Alisa, we love you a lot; please, let us have more of yourself! PLEASE:) Ewa p.s. I feel like those people (including yourself) make the whole of Pilates world meaningful; I, for instance, try to stick to Return to Life and its impact on the whole of the Pilates community. It is a challenge in Poland, where BASI and BODY CONTROL (London) try to get the whole of the market!!! Something which is not – actually the Core of the JHP’s – is prevailing! We, the classical teachers, need knowledge (up-dated!), contact with You and others, assistance in our day-to-day work. We love what we do:) We love You:) We need You:)

      Hi ewapialtes,
Thanks as always for your enthusiasm, your requests are noted and it will make you happy to know that we just filmed with Sandy and will be visiting Kathi in February. It’s only Jack and I who do everything at Pilatesology so we can’t make things happen as fast as we would like but we love fulfilling your requests!
