This video is directed at Pilates instructors who are looking to enter Vintage Pilates’ teachers program: The Work, led by First Generation Teacher Jay Grimes. Sandy covers the Cadillac exercises and skills that are required for entrance into the program. Demonstrated by Nicole Briggs, Sandy leads the session as she would for an actual assessment, watching to see that Nicole understands how to set up, how to practice the exercises, and how to adjust the exercise for her own body. WOW! what a great workout! focused in find the center and work from the center; is challenging to keep our mind in silence and listen our body; very interesting how every exercise is working in deferent bodies, the meaning goal here is work from the center, give to the spine mobility and flow. Great Work of Nicole! please give to her a big hug! and You Sandy show that everything is possible! I want to see how my own “rolling in and out” moving my entire spine from the center as you said! Going to practice and keep practice! I can’t wait to have my cadillac workout again! Thanks to all xx

Thanks to Nicole and Sandy for this class. I am thankful for the imperfection of executing the exercises because I have been able to better understand what Sandy was watching for. I also appreciate the hands on feed back from Sandy. Well done Nicole!

Thank you for this feedback and for appreciating that the wonderful demonstrators I select are always willing to be on film without preparation or practice. Nicole is a beautiful mover and skillful practitioner!

Hi Ladyjane! Nicole Briggs has such a strong and intelligent body. She has already completed The Work, but as you can see, the learning never never stops! I always like to use demonstrators without practicing the material in advance. One, so that it is themost truthful representation of an actual lesson and two, so that you can see their specific body strengths and challenges.

So much of the learning process is realizing that every body is different (no matter how experienced), and that Pilates always has something more to teach each body!
