Join Alisa for a pure Pilates mat session that moves at a flowing, yet deliberate pace. Doing these exercises at a slightly slower pace can dramatically sculpt the muscles you’re working because you are forced to stay in control and move without momentum. Make sure that you continue to maintain your focus as the workout progresses and try not to change your tempo, this will create changes in your body faster.

    This is a WONDERFUL class for someone who is ready for more advanced exercises but can’t move at a fast pace. An added bonus is the very precise cues. THANK YOU!!!!!

    I thought this was a really solid pure Pilates session (and my body will thank you later!) but I was hoping for more variation in the exercises or adjustments to the pace based on the name and description…in hopes that I can someday sculpt the same definition in my legs that you have in yours! 🙂

      Oh I love that you brought this up Jackie! I think I will change the description a bit because it does seem like you’re going to get something ‘special’ from this workout when really it is a pure, classical mat. I will let you in a secret though–this is exactly the workout I do that has given me the definition you’re looking for. If I had to narrow it down, it’s the Kneeling Side Kicks that do the job so concentrate on doing them painfully slow. 🙂
