Nice class! I took the opportunity to practice pistol squats during the rolling transitions/circuits instead of crossed leg squats. I feel wrung out and massaged- thank you!

Wow! Amazing Angel. What a strong body you have. That was a killer workout, and hard to follow as you never knew what was coming next. Great job!!
Love the Reformer on the mat work 🙂
    Thank you!

That was great! I liked your cue to keep the back long in the Rocking. I hadn’t thought about the length from the tailbone to the sternum in that position. That’s a good feeling.

Hello there, I am not sure what your name is, or I would say it…
Thank you for your comments and appreciation for this class.
Yes, I was trained by Romana in 1994. I love the classical approach and it is the ground work for my teaching. I later became a trainer for Power Pilates and now free lance as a teacher, teacher trainer and lead workshops, retreats and trainings.
My student was Angel, I never met before this little series of classes, I am not sure of her back ground, probably NOT Romana trained as she has a pretty arched spine, but she is an athlete and LOVES working hard, so was capable of jumping in and going for it.
FYI, I will be in the UK teaching some workshops in August and would be happy to share this information with you. I can be reached at

Very much appreciate this sort of “real life” Mat video. No faking here. This is a talented Lady we have had the privilege to see at her work.
A perfect example don’t you think, of how efficient the use of the breath can be when used properly to perform the Matwork.
Who is this Lady and is she from the Romana School of Training?
Thank you for sharing this work with us Niedra!

Who is the very capable Lady demonstrating and is she from the Romana School?
