This is a Gratz high mat. I love it so much and it makes a huge difference teaching on it at my studio. It’s worth every penny:) They have a high mat and also a low folding mat which has the same features.

I never knew there was Archival Footage, that showed the One Leg Circle performed both ways. Fascinating. Where can one see this Footage!

A real QUALITY piece of mat practice and Instruction.
A delight to observe these two strong Lady Pilates Practitioners. (Probably Instructors!)
1. Beautiful 100 with legs low. Don’t see many do it like this and so well.
2. Not often we see the use the Dowels and Foot Straps and so neatly executed.
3. Much Old School Methodology respected.
4. Liked the transition from Side Kick Series – Bicycle into partial splits, but, rotate chest to floor for a few moments, before executing complete splits movement.
5. Strong – defined by the quality of these Ladies Push-Ups. (Don’t see many do Push Ups to this standard) Likewise, the strength of spirit they demonstrated in their work.Why did you choose to keep the pelvis quiet for the first three repetitions of the Leg Circles, before, permitting the Ladies to lift the working hip to rotate.? (Did Joe Pilates do this?)
These two Ladies are a Gift to any Instructor. Great credit to them.

This must be CH right? Fun and tough workout indeed! Yes, both are instructors and worked hard for you in the program. The reason I had them keep the pelvis quiet for the first 3 reps was to help them get hold of their stability so when the working hip rotated, it would come from a stronger place. On some of the archival footage, I have seen leg circles done both ways.I hope all is well with you and glad to see you are keeping up with your practice!
