New fave! Hard as hell but fortunately no issues grappling with pretty leg problem for this guy =). Kudos Clare, exceptionally great instruction and sequence.

I think this will really help my reformer snake and twist, plus a few other tough spots in both mat and reformer. Interesting, and different kind of ‘fun’ with pace.

      Dear Susan,
Working out the kinks in the tough spots is no easy task. Thanks for giving it a go!

Thanks Angel, and doing it in the privacy of your own home has gotta be one of the best things about working out with a video :)!

      Hey Angel,
Alisa is right, at home you can moan and groan as your body and mind figure it out. Super human fun:)

hi Clare, this is a brilliant mat for so many reasons. The combos are fantastic. It’s always that dang first rep where you are climbing into the body and all the ‘power leaks’ come out. If you got one shot you learn fast and the body obeys. Also side kicks the mind can wander with too many reps. The combos keep it fresh. I got a lot out of all your ques and combos. Teaser twist in mat awesome. Thanks for such a great class! Best, liesbeth

      Liesbeth,
This is certainly a class for the hearty minded! Glad you enjoyed it and got a few things you can use. I had a blast teaching it and practicing it too. The hardest part was using my words to keep it moving.
      Best!

I thought you did I an excellent job keeping the flow but still teaching the bodies in movement. And it translated well out here in TV land. I was able to work hard without constantly looking at my screen. 🙂

It translated to TV land! Yeay!
Thank you to Alisa who suggested I be uber articulate on this one so every one could keep up without a hitch.

This is quite a “special mat class”, and especially, the “Chair Twist Adapted for the Mat”. I have researched and practiced the Classical Mat for almost a decade now being a Mat person, and this is the first time I have come across this adaptation. Thank you indeed for sharing it.
I so enjoyed Alisa being told she was a “Wonder of Nature”! That was Gem number 2 !
One of the best – an outstanding Contribution.

      Hello JoesMat!

Home run??? I knew you would like the teaser twist variation!
Thanks for watching, I hope you joined in on the mat as well:)

Thank you for your kind note Clare.
Yes indeed, I have been following this class through on my mat everyday since it appeared on Pilatesology. The practice is deceptively “deep”.
