Twisting exercises on the Wunda chair are a fantastic way to balance the body and provide length around the spine. Kathryn Ross Nash takes Ernesto Reynoso through a series of progressive twists that will benefit anyone looking to improve stability and power because they increase range of motion in the torso. Whether it’s a better golf score you’re after or you simply want to look over your shoulder with ease, this class will wring you out (in a good way). Thank you for such beautiful teaching and form. I really love the detail and the way it was broken down with the hands on cues. I find the videos here keeping to true form, helpful to enhance my own teaching skills and personal practice in between workshops.

Thanks for slowing that last part down–I have been focusing too much on my shoulders and arm movement.

Such a treat to see these two working together- really helpful to see and have explained Kathi’s “hands on” with these twisting exercises & she is right- Pilates Challenge is probably the most beautiful studio in NYC!! more classes with these two please!

It can be done on the mat- but a little difficult to describe with words….

Such a pity. Your a Master at teaching proper form and technique. Thank you.

I know nothing of any Apparatus, but it was an education to learn the depth of each exercise and watch this gentleman demonstrate with such good technique.Outstanding.
Can the FISH be performed on the Mat, (with the neck press) and if so would you describe please? Thank you very much.

joesmat – Check out Dorothee’s Advanced Mat for the Fish Exercise done without apparatus, it’s a bit different than on the chair but you can certainly take Kathi’s wonderful cues and apply them!
