Practice these 4 incredible moves that make you taller instantly and help you stay that way for the rest of your day. You can use 1 or 2 pound arm weights (water bottles or soup cans substitute nicely), but if weights aren’t handy or feel like too much for your body, it’s okay to leave them out. Visit Andrea at her studio Pilates Andrea in Solana Beach, CA.

I have not come across the last exercise before, whereby Joe had his shoulders and arms against the wall, with his feet a few steps forward and then he moved his hips out and away, and so a straight line from shoulders – hips – to feet, then the challenge, to articulate your back against the wall piece by piece, segment by segment.
How interesting. Where does it come from please?
    Thank you for sharing.

      Hi Colin 🙂
I learned this part of the Wall exercise when I was training with Romana’s Pilates. They called it the Reverse Wall. It is the reverse version of the Roll Down part of the Wall.

It is a great posture improver! And you are right, the challenge is the return to the wall as upright as you can. Joe does it very well. I like it for myself as well as it is a lovely stretch to open the chest and the back of the neck. And the Wall is so unforgiving…
      Be the Wall, Colin!
Thank you so much for watching and keep up the good work.
