    I have not come across the last exercise before, whereby Joe had his shoulders and arms against the wall, with his feet a few steps forward and then he moved his hips out and away, and so a straight line from shoulders – hips – to feet, then the challenge, to articulate your back against the wall piece by piece, segment by segment.
    How interesting. Where does it come from please?

      Hi Colin 🙂
      I learned this part of the Wall exercise when I was training with Romana’s Pilates. They called it the Reverse Wall. It is the reverse version of the Roll Down part of the Wall.

      It is a great posture improver! And you are right, the challenge is the return to the wall as upright as you can. Joe does it very well. I like it for myself as well as it is a lovely stretch to open the chest and the back of the neck. And the Wall is so unforgiving…
