Thank you Pilatesology! Thank you pilatesangel and joesmat for your kind words!
Chris is an amazing teacher! The 2 way stretch is so important and is something I struggle at due to my original foundations in the work and a back injury. It was quite humbling to be filmed in a room with so many people. Am forever grateful for the video and the opportunity to see myself move. Thank you for that!

Meg it takes a lot of strength to get in front of a camera in a room full of strangers and do a workout with a teacher you haven’t taken a lesson from before and you rocked it! Thank YOU for offering your body for the world to learn from, it’s true that there is so much to learn from seeing ourselves move.

I agree with Joe’s mat as noted above, Chris is such an example of a strong personal understanding of the work! Opening the spring or closing the spring with length is the ultimate challenge and Chris does a spectacular job (as does Meg) to demonstrate this principle. I will have to say to Joesmat, don’t underestimate your mat practice, it is the goal for all of us to translate the equipment into the mat. Your ability to incorporate your observations illustrate your complete dedication to this wonderful body of work! Thanks for sharing this lesson!

It immediately strikes you that to be able to teach like this, with few words, you must spend a lot of time in your person practice, in order to be able to teach the person what to find in their body, as they move through the exercise. That for me is what it is about.
No fancy terminology or balletic movements here, just real Pilates practice don’t you think?
Thank you Mr Robinson for sharing, and Pilatesology for bringing this very skilled teacher
    to us.
The student – Meg is obviously a Teacher and thank you also for demonstrating the skill so very well.
I should add, I only do mat, but, I can take all this material into my practice to-day.
    Top notch stuff for sure.

Please note a correct to the first sentence.
The word “person” should be replaced with the word “personal”.
      My apologies.
