I truly enjoy these mini workshops. The nuanced verbal and tactile cues have given me a deeper understaning of the exercise as well as how to effectively communicate this information to a client. Your discussion of clean transitions makes the splits series flow so nicely.

I so love all of these great mini workshops that focus on the details and work of the exercises. As teachers we need to be able to understand the intention to be able to address the body in front of us. Thank you Pilatesology! and thank you Clare for sharing with us your depth of knowledge.

Tanyapaty, I appreciate your remarks – it’s so great to hear that these mini workshops are working for you and hopefully others. As a teacher myself, I know it’s a lot easier to find a shorter block of time to visit Pilatesology, and then I can visit more frequently. Thank-you!

The Ballet Dancer Lisa makes the various SPLITS look easy!
I assume the same cues for positioning would apply if we were doing these exercises on the mat. Now we seldom see the SPLITS taught in such detail
for the Mat – Maybe next time Clare!
Great Instruction.-

Thanks JoesMat,
The details, the details……don’t you love how the consistency of the cues are the same whether on the mat, reformer or anywhere in the System? I always appreciate your comments!
