Ladder Barrel Leg Stretches

Kara takes you through the Leg Stretches, or as Romana called them, the Ballet Stretches, on the Ladder Barrel which are great for increasing flexibility in the hips and hamstrings as well as relieving sciatica and more. Kara teaches Romana’s version of these stretches which includes a slight variation as the leg reaches behind the body. If you don’t have a Barrel at home, it is possible to practice the basics of this series using a stable counter or railing. This class was filmed at Kara Wily Pilates in Los Angeles.
