Kara works with Steve, whose extreme inflexibility will make most anyone who claims to be stiff feel like Gumby. This is his first Pilates workout after a long hiatus and despite his incredibly tight hips, legs and back, Steve still does a full Beginner Mat workout, with appropriate adjustments for his specific needs. Kara beautifully demonstrates her hands-on approach while helping Steve to relax where he needs to so he can get more out of each exercise. Notably, Kara doesn’t substitute or create new exercises for Steve, she simply applies the classical mat workout to the body in front of her.
