In this amazing mini-workshop for teachers, Fabien explores techniques for identifying and correcting twisted or protruding rib-cages and collarbones. Using his student Lisa as an example, Fabien explains the basics of the anatomy of the ribcage and shoulders and why the Reformer is the best place to assess this area because of the flat surface of the carriage against the body, the support of the headpiece and the symmetry of the shoulder blocks. From there you’ll see how basic exercises on the Reformer can be adjusted to correct the twist in Lisa's ribcage as well as for other common body types like overly flexible or stiff ribcages. You'll come away with an easy understanding of how to see when your clients are crooked and how to fix them and then progress them to the next level. Great class. Fabien is a wonderful teacher. He explains things so clearly and calmly. I wish though that you had turned the reformer the other way around in filming so we could see better the right shoulder to which he referred most of the time.
