In this teaching tips video, Fabien demonstrates a progression of exercises that address the 2 key areas of the body needed for healthy backbends. They are 1) the flexibility and strength of the lower trunk, and 2) the flexibility and strength of the upper trunk. Without strength and flexibility in these 2 areas, you are likely to take all of the bending in your lower back.
