Want to impress your Pilates Instructor in your next session? Clare's tips for making your Reformer transitions as quick and efficient as possible will make you the Teacher's Pet! Learn how to get into Backstroke in 6 counts, why you should use your non-dominant side to mount and dismount, why it’s important to not pull on the springs when getting into Short Spine Massage and so much more. Practicing smooth transitions is as good for your mind as it is for your body because it requires you to consistently pay attention to what you’re doing and what is coming next. Visit Clare at Progressive Bodyworks in Newburyport, MA where she offers lessons, teacher training and more. Big thanks to Kathryn Ross-Nash and her studio American Body Tech where this was filmed.

It’s all in the details, is it not? And it makes for an unbroken chain of movement. Hope to see you in the UK again too. It’s been a couple years and I miss it!
