Victoria teaches a Standing Pilates class that will tone your center, improve your balance and posture, as well as relieve tension in the shoulders and low back. You'll need a wall to lean against for some delicious stretches at the beginning and then Victoria adds challenge by bringing you away from the wall to finish. It's a rejuvenating class that you'll want to make a daily habit in your office, after a run, waiting for a plane—anywhere you can stand! Filmed at Pilates on 66th, Victoria’s studio on NYC’s Upper East Side.

    This is the second time I have done this class. I think it is overall a great reminder of position and stretch. Most importantly (at least for me), I sometimes have benign positional vertigo which can make the floor mat challenging. This is a great alternative for those days when the room would spin otherwise.

    Excellent approach to mat standing. I will use this within a few of my classes of groups of seniors who find traditional Mat too challenging instead of a chair approach! Thank you for the visual, instructional alternative!

    Lovely class, I have an elderly lady in class who is struggling with inner ear issues when lying down so some great ideas here. the cues were so clear and and I was surprised how much you can work your core standing! Thank you!

    This is one of my favorite workouts especially when I am waiting for clients I don’t even have to get down on the mat to put myself back together.
