During her apprenticeship, Romana often gave Alisa an incredible workout on the Cadillac that followed the order of the Reformer exercises. Here, Alisa adapts this series for a complete session using a Tower or Wall Unit.     Can i have a question.. when doing reverse push through, what’s the purpose to plams facing up and down… thank you Pilatesology

      Hi Pilatesforever91, changing the hand position stretches different parts of your forearm, shoulder and chest, it also encourages use of the rotational ability of the forearm which is a movement pattern that gets lost in our modern lives. 🙂

    Thank you Alisa! I love the standing ballet stretches with balance challenge! It would be great to have a few short videos/tutorials breaking down and offering modifications for capable students that are new to more advanced Tower exercises such as rolling stomach massage, leg springs in the air, etc. thank you!

    Fantastic working. Lots of changes. Very challenging however it felt amazing to complete the series. I appreciate the verbal cues as well so that I can concentrate on my form and not have to watch the screen constantly.

    Great flowy class. I did it on the reformer/tower conversion so a bit higher up but I could almost do everything except for the ballet stretches on the push-thru bar (ceiling is too low) and the standing up series at the end (I might break the poles of the tower). Otherwise love the workout!

    I don’t have any Apparatus, but simply observing this sequence here, it seems to me, that Anja is one very capable Pilates Practitioner!

    Such a full body, thoughtful and strong workout; I particularly loved the order that Alisa prepared for Anja, worked each part of the body; awaiting the other workout that that Alisa mentioned. Last but not least Jack: has had all the luck of filming those two beautiful ladies in a such a perfect view:)
