Raised in Madrid, I moved to New York in the mid-nineties to advance a career in graphic design. After over two decades in the entertainment and media industries – Showtime, VH1, Sundance, The New York Times– and ten years of Pilates practice, I shifted my focus to the wellness industry inspired by the positive changes the method had brought to my everyday. And in 2017 I bought a semi-abandoned bank building in upstate New York with the intention to return it to the community as a Pilates studio. Enter Catskills Pilates, a rather whimsical studio on the mezzanine of the former bank building overlooking the grand lobby where I welcome clients to take a break from the stressors of life, break a sweat, and leave their sessions with a smile. Catskills Pilates Philosophy is simple, we teach Pilates for real life so every class and every session is different and tailored to whoever is in front of us.
