Alisa Wyatt designed this mat around her favorite workout prop, leg weights. The extra boost the weights give bring amazing results that you'll notice immediately in your post-workout body glow. You can find the weights she's using in this video here, and keep in mind that even without weights, this is still a killer workout so jump in and enjoy the benefits! Filmed at Pilatesology Studio.

Thank you for this fun new variation! Do you recommend certain weight level(s) for intermediate students?

Hi CherWilbeck! I always start with a lighter weight (1/2 pound or 1 pound) and work with that regularly until I feel like it’s not difficult at all anymore before going any heavier. I’ve made the mistake of starting off too heavy and let’s just say I was sorry–it can make your hip flexors freak out and in the worst case scenario your low back as well.
