    I have a Q,so you Dnt have to press the carriage all the way out?
    Just half way as shown in the video?
    I was taught to move it further out,not necessarily all the way out,but definitely further away than what is shown in the video.
    The video looks more doable.

    Hi, I have a question, please. I can turn the hand in the other way? Because when I practice this exercise I turn my hand in the other waybecause is more easy for me, is it wrong?

      Hi EV.Pilates,
      Sorry for the delay in responding. It is not good for the joints in your hands and shoulders to turn your hand the other way because it can twist your shoulder joint and put too much pressure on your wrists. Keep practicing the Long Stretch and Push Ups–as you get stronger in your center, it will become easier. Oh and you may also need some stretching on the Spine Corrector to make the correct hand position easier.

    I learned tendon stretch as a much larger range of motion with the carriage moving out all the way…heart looking forward…shoulders sliding down. I am wondering if this is just a modern variation or a different exercise all together?

      Hi Rudybecka,
      If you learned Tendon Stretch on a different type of apparatus (the one used in this video is Gratz) it will probably be close to impossible to do it with your chest open as you describe. I can’t be sure that the variation you learned is new but I haven’t seen it and I suspect Jay hasn’t either since I’ve never seen him teach it that way. Hope that helps!
