This mat workout is Alisa's personal morning routine. It makes all the difference for her day and it can for you too! Moving at a quick tempo, she mixes in extra stretches and strength variations aimed at your legs and posture. Do it regularly and you'll be rewarded with fewer aches and pains, better posture, stronger legs and perhaps even a sunnier attitude! Filmed at Pilatesology Studio in Hermosa Beach.

Thank you, Alisa! I adore all of your 20-30 min. videos. I can’t wait for more! I enjoy this one so much to get going, and I like the option of adding 10 mins. of cardio afterwards (since it’s a short 20 mins.). Thank you for your fantastic cueing! I’m curious, do you rely on this workout every day to get started, or is it something you use only as a supplement to many other exercise sessions for the day (teaching, more pilates, volleyball)?

    Kind Regards,
    Cheryl

Thanks so much Cheryl, I’m inspired to do more for you! To answer your question, I try to do something every morning even if it just means getting on the floor and rolling around lazily, lol. It’s all about being in my body in a way that feels good so sometimes that’s a sweaty 1 hour workout (desk day) or if I know I have a big day of activity ahead that won’t be so easy on my body (volleyball!) it’s a warm up.

Loved this Workout. Perfect to make sure we keep our own self practice going each and every day, no matter how much we teach others.
The best thing? Your little giggles in certain exercises 😀
    Thank you.
