Sandy continues her exploration of how the muscles of the back connect the limbs to the torso. Here in Part 3, Sandy discusses what happens when you work too hard and end up restricting your movement. With her student Emily she demonstrates the difference between connecting to the point of constriction vs. connecting to provide support and freedom for your joints. Filmed at Vintage Pilates in West Los Angeles, CA.

This is an excellent example of what it looks like to deepen your connection to your back with a client who already has an understanding. Thank you for this series of videos. I hope you continue on with more back to basics. My personal practice has become much more connected.
