Kathi teaches this mat class by using a wall as a constraint to challenge and align the body  for more stability and strength. The wall forces you to use honest movement because you have the wall to tell you when you're cheating or falling out of alignment. It will help you feel the 2 way stretch in your body, build your stamina and help you build strength to do better at some commonly frustrating exercises like Teaser or Star that benefit from having the wall for support. Thanks to Dana Santi and Colleen Naughton Strong at The Pilates Core in LaGrange, IL where this class was filmed.     Do much fun. My neck pull and the standing wall roll down need some work! Loved the challenging standing tree. Ha that needs some work as well. Thank you love to have projects!

      Right?! My favorite part of this video is the end when Kathi actually rolls down and up — with her heels completely glued to the wall.
