This class with Victoria is perfect for those familiar with the complete classical Reformer order who enjoy discovering a movement anew. Victoria's calming presence makes even the tough stuff easier and the simplest statements aimed at her trio of students like "press your legs into the carriage" will give you ah-ha moments throughout. Variations include Long Stretch with 1 Leg, Elephant with Heels Up, Tendon Stretch from sitting, Knee Stretches with 1 leg, Side Splits with a different rhythm, and a delicious stretch at the wall to finish. Enjoy! Visit Victoria at Pilates66 on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Victoria, I love watching and participating in your classes! Could you tell me, are those Gratz reformers??

Hi Dawn, So glad you’re enjoying Victoria’s classes! All of the apparatus in this video is Gratz.

Lovely effective queing in this class. There is a difference particularly in rowing, tendon stretch, chest expansion with regard to the carriage control. Can you tell us what spring setting your students were using in tendon stretch and in teaser? Thanks!

I have been a fan of your teaching since your first class on Pilatesology! So smart and bio mechanically speaking so much better for our backs! You have such a simple approach to ensure the whole body is involved! As a runner with a hyper-mobile lumbar spine I thank you!

Victoria, you are a dream teacher and I always benefit in some way from your Pilatesology videos – from working out with you, to observing your quiet, tenacious depth of teaching. Your little chuckle brings a welcome moment of relief during the toughest workout! Thanks for your contribution to the “ology opus”!

Despite Victoria’s amazing similarity (as regards face) to Kate Winslet, I really cannot indentify anything different, or specific in her teaching:( sorry to be so critical but I understand this is an open forum for discussion!
