It only takes a few minutes to do something good for your pregnant body with Pilates. This gentle Pilates mat session is will get the kinks out while providing much needed circulation for your joints, organs, and your baby! Molly’s student Elizabeth is in her 3rd trimester so this workout is designed for any stage of pregnancy.     Hi Carmit1, When you’re pregnant you don’t cue “pull navel to spine” or “scoop”. There’s a baby in the way and as the abdominals spread they can’t feel any scoop. Concentrate on the tranverse abdominus and obliques that create a cradle or girdle to support the extra weight. She is using her core, just not the rectus abdominus. Thanks for watching!

    Hi! I’m just wondering, is she in her core the whole time? Is there any restriction on getting into core when pregnant? Thanks!
