Pilates is known for building strong, flat abs. Andrea shows you how with 7 key exercises and a gentle finish. Learn the basics of engaging your stomach muscles with these exercises: The Hundred, The Half-Roll Down, Single Leg Circles, Rolling Like a Ball, Single Leg Pull, Double Leg Pull, Spine Stretch and the Wall. Optional 1-2-pound hand weights are used at the end of this class.

    Another great class from Andrea (Truly, I’m not her sponsor!) This is a great class for beginners wanting explanation and tuition. Intermediate people can go for it too – I just added some more advanced moves, but still took her cues.

      Thank you Abi! My sister and her husband are the inspiration for this video – although I am quite certain they have yet to watch. They are my favorite Pilates Procrastinators 🙂 I teach them these exercises whenever we are together so it is my hope that they will learn them and use them to stay strong and feeling good. And you are right – one can work really hard within these few basic exercises. Even intermediate and advanced practitioners who have been doing these exercises the longest can work their hardest to approach perfection, yes?
