Following a workout session (Mat for Every Body), Simona leads a discussion with her students at SUNY Purchase about the progress they have made over the course of a few months of practicing Pilates. Many of the points that come out of this discussion are easily overlooked, common sense reminders of how to properly care for your body and the fantastic results that come from regular, simple maintenance with Pilates. Filmed at The Art of Control™ Simona Cipriani’s studio at the SUNY campus in Purchase New York.

It is my understanding that splitting the mat exercises into Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels was introduced initially when Sean Gallagher and Romana started the first Teacher Training Programme.
You speak about the students not being ready for the Roll Over yet. Why was the Roll Over chosen not to be included at this time, and who made that decision? Why is the Roll Over any more challenging?
It’s in Mr Pilates book – Return to Life – the original Methodology.
    Thanking you in anticipation.
