Join Karen as she works with David, an avid cyclist and runner in a workout that utilizes the full studio in the way that Mr. Pilates intended. If like David, you are learning how to keep your shoulders in their proper position while staying connected to your core, you'll benefit from Karen's keen eye and excellent cues. She offers small adjustments that make big changes, such as variations in hand or arm placement, as well as hands on help that make a noticeable difference in David's form. Karen draws parallels between exercises on the Reformer, Mat and Cadillac and David is able to observe how these similarities tie the work together in his body. In this class, you’ll notice that David has been working on remembering how to set up his own apparatus, knowing what exercise comes next, etc. so that Karen can concentrate on giving him the corrections he needs in his body and he can build independence.
