Finding Pilates with Kathy Grant Part 2

Watch the preview

Considering her significant role in the Pilates world as a first generation teacher, it's shocking how little we know about Kathy Stanford Grant - one of Joe Pilates' more private students. Join us in Part 2 of our interview with Blossom Leilani Crawford, Kathy's assistant and long-term friend, to get a taste of Kathy's unique style compared to Romana's, and learn more about her influence on her students and Pilates overall. Visit Blossom at her studio Bridge Pilates where this interview was filmed.

Thank you Blossom for sharing your stories and inspiration!!!! Love your work and totally agree….classical or contemporary or all the above, movement and the work is key and you can learn something from all of it. I tell my clients all the time, “I’m a different flavor of crazy….find your flavor and enjoy, life is too short and just keep moving :)”

I love part 1 and 2 of this discussion. I trained with Michele Larsson when she was still doing teacher trainings and found Eve’s work genius. I have since trained with several of Romana’s teachers and I embrace her style too. I love the permission to honor those you have learned from and use what speaks to you. There are many brilliant teachers including and especially the ones on this video 🙂 Having access to this history and analysis is such a gift to us as teachers and forever students of this work. Thank you Alisa and Blossom! (And Martin)

Such a delightful Lady is Blossom Leilani Crawford. So refreshingly grounded and sharing of her knowledge about Joe Pilates Method.

Yes, indeed how sad it is that we hear so little also of Carola Trier and Eve Gentry.

Perhaps, Alisa will bring more of their work to us soon!
