The details that go into a traditional ending in Pilates are designed to leave a client feeling successful, uplifted, elated, aligned, strong and flexible all at once. In this workshop Alisa covers the elements that make up a great finish to a session for all levels of clients and then demonstrates several often-forgotten endings on the mat as well as on the Ladder Barrel, Electric Chair and Cadillac. Our thanks to Hummingbird Pilates where this workshop was filmed.

Thank you, Alisa. Those were all great endings. You gave me so much to work on and I Love the little differences from Romana and Jay.

Even if you don’t have Apparatus like myself, it is always stimulating to study these “endings” that Alisa presented so nicely here.
So much of this I can try on my mat, and for the hanging work, I use a tree in my garden. Why not.
I particularly like how Alisa let the attendees find the exercises in their body. Few words – just try and practice. That is Pilates don’t you think.
So enjoyed the final “ending” with “Jumping” and split your legs and touch your toes.
    So stimulating.
Thank you for that little “Gem” Alisa.
