Vicki Cooper

I am the President and Owner of Muscle Activation Dallas, MAT Specialist, Certified Pilates Instructor, and Licensed Massage Therapist. I have a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University. Being introduced to Pilates in 2001 and in 2003 I began her intensive training in the Classical Pilates Method. Vicki is certified through Balance Body. Eternally a student, I have continued her training with students of Joseph Pilates and Romana Kryzanowska, attending workshops with Chris Robinson, Kathy Ross Nash, Jay Grimes, Sandy Shimoda, Mejo Wiggins and Peter Fiasca. I began her teaching at the renowned Cooper Aerobic Center in Dallas, Texas and from there taught at a private pilates studio.. I am also the Pilates instructor for Dallas Ballet Center working with dancers of all ages and the Dallas Ballet Company. In 2007 I was injured and after trying various therapies with no success, a friend suggested Muscle Activation Technique (MAT). This experience eventually led to her back to school in Denver, CO to pursue becoming a Muscle Activation Technique Specialist. Pilates and MAT fit perfectly together and the combination gave her the tools needed to provide clients with the best strength, stability, and mobility they need to perform any activity to their highest capability. I am currently in the process of completing the Masters program. Because of my love for what I do and my desire to help more people, in 2015 I began the steps toward opening my own studio, Muscle Activation Dallas. I currently works with athletes, ranging from novice to professional; including the NFL and NHL. I am very lucky to be able to share my two passions with so many and I love helping people experience the excitement of being strong, flexible, centered and balanced.
