Profile
Being a professional dancer for 15 years, Pilates became a huge part of my life! I was first introduced to the method as rehabilitation for a knee injury. Since then Pilates has been my primary form of conditioning and health maintenance. In 2007 I received my CTTC from Rael Isacowitz at BASI International. After retiring from the stage, I took up Dressage and began showing competitively in So. California. Again I found that my Pilates practice kept me in top competition form (and that was after three children!) I began teaching equestrians the benefits of Pilates to enhance their riding seat. I now teach a riding clinics dedicated solely to improving rider balance and control. Several years ago I relocated from the big city to the country where I have recently opened up our town's first Pilates studio; TEN Pilates Studio. I focus on teaching classical Pilates; being a trained dancer, I am drawn to the pureness of it. It is my goal to get every body moving! I believe there are no boundaries to what we can accomplish. Life should be lived to it's fullest and we should move through it effortlessly.
