Kerstin Korzekwa

Kerstin Korzekwa was born in Duisburg/ Germany and got introduced to various athletic activities and holistic living at an early age. She did spend many summer and winter vacations hiking , skiing and mountain climbing in the tyrolean alps and also excelled in long distance running and Dressage. At age fourteen Kerstin started her dance education at the Ballet Academy of the State Opera of Duisburg/ Duesseldorf where she studied Ballet and Modern Dance. Kerstin continued her dance training at the Ballet Academies of Munich and Cologne and attained a Master\\\'s degree in dance performance and physical education in 1998. Kerstin has danced professionally and choreographed for both modern dance and ballet companies as well musical theatre productions and directed works for entertainment parks, corporate events, and illusion shows. Kerstin was first introduced to Authentic Pilates during her dance training; where she gained the knowledge and understanding of the importance of Pilates and how it benefits dancers and athletes. After moving to the US, Kerstin decided to expand her career in the direction of Pilates and successfully completed the 700hr Romana\\\'s Pilates® Instructor Training Program in only 6 months. She is now one of a handful of Pilates teachers in Palm Beach who were still able to study with Romana Kryzanowska, Joe Pilates\\\'s chosen Protégé. She established Pilates Space Florida in late 2007 and has grown the studio to one of the largest Authentic Pilates studio in the US. She works with a wide variety of clients on a daily basis while mentoring the next generation of PSF teachers. With an individualized approach that is truly inspiring, Kerstin brings her unique blend of creativity, motivation, and intuition into every session she teaches.
