Gissel Grullon

I’m Gissel Grullon, a Peak Pilates Comprehensive Level I certified instructor. I am also a licensed occupational therapist, the owner and instructor of In Pursuit of Pilates, and currently enrolled in Peak Pilates Comprehensive Level II. My 17 years of experience as an occupational therapist inform my understanding of anatomy, movement analysis, exercise grading, and thoughtful modification. My teaching is clear, observant, and encouraging, helping clients feel both challenged and capable. I love classical Pilates for its precision, intelligence, and adaptability. Through In Pursuit of Pilates, I offer private, duet, and small-group Mat and apparatus sessions from my private home studio in Inwood, at clients’ homes and building gyms or amenity spaces, and virtually through google meet. My mission is to help people build strength, control, body awareness, and confidence while developing a positive and sustainable relationship with movement.
