Hi, I’m Ariel, a dedicated Classical Pilates instructor with over twelve years of experience. My journey into Pilates began after a severe ankle injury required multiple surgeries. I discovered that Pilates was the perfect way to rehab and strengthen my body, offering a combination of flexibility, modification, and challenge in every session. That experience not only healed my body but ignited my deep love for the practice. Originally from Edmonton, I cherish the lifelong friendships I’ve made here, and I’ve always had a lighthearted connection to my name — Ariel, the “Mermaid.” That’s actually what inspired the name of my Pilates studio! Outside of teaching, I’m a proud wife to my amazing husband and a mom to a lively 4-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes. Pilates allows me the flexibility to work around my family’s busy schedule while still staying grounded. I’m passionate about connecting with all bodies and building meaningful relationships with my clients. I especially love teaching partner sessions — whether it’s couples, friends, or family — there’s something so special about sharing the experience together. I earned my Comprehensive Pilates Certification under the guidance of Master Instructor Scott Samford in Dallas, Texas, and I’ve been fortunate to train under Marti Boyle for over a decade, expanding my knowledge and deepening my passion. Currently, I’m pursuing specialized training in Pilates for Neurological Conditions through The Neuro Studio, a field that’s very close to my heart due to family and friends affected by these conditions. As a lifelong learner, I’m committed to continually expanding my skills and contributing to the ever-evolving Pilates community. My mission is simple: to help you feel empowered, strong, and connected, every step of the way.
