Allie Lochary

Allie is a Charlotte native who took to the bright lights of New York City after graduating from Elon University in 2009. For over a decade, Allie performed as a professional modern dancer at famed venues like Brooklyn Academy of Music and Jacob’s Pillow. Her journey with Pilates began in high school, evolving into a transformative practice in her early 20s. Motivated by the strength and control she found, Allie embarked on a mission to share her passion through teaching. Holding two comprehensive Pilates certifications from Core Pilates NYC and Equinox, she boasts over 1500 hours of formal training. Allie had the pleasure of becoming a Teacher Trainer at Core Pilates NYC, and later, Lead Teacher Trainer in NYC for Equinox. She has had the honor of mentoring instructors who now own thriving studios worldwide and can be seen teaching on platforms like Apple Fitness +. With over a decade of teaching under her belt, she has cultivated a diverse clientele, ranging from A-list celebrities and NFL players to new moms and individuals navigating recovery or special conditions. Allie’s specialties include working with athletes and dancers, pre/postnatal clients, spinal issues including herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis and stenosis, common knee injuries such as ACL and meniscus tears, osteoporosis, hip and knee replacements, Multiple Sclerosis and more. Now back in her hometown of Charlotte, NC, Allie is excited to bring her wealth of experience home while extending her virtual teachings across the globe. Her commitment to crafting personalized workouts ensures a safe and effective journey toward achieving fitness goals.
