    Great video. Please clarify with the exercises right at the beginning of the video – Amanda’s shoulder blades are coming off the long box – it was my understanding that, especially with the hundred, you come up to the tips of the scapula. Very many thanks.

      Hi carysmitchell,
      I’m replying for Gina. You’re right, in general the shoulder blades stay on the mat when the head is lifted. There are cases when you might ask a student to go higher (Double Straight Leg Stretch for example) however that’s not what’s going on in this video. If you try doing any of these exercises on a Long Box, you’ll notice that it’s a heck of a lot harder to keep from rocking forward toward your legs as you work because you have less support when lying on that box. Amanda’s doing a good job of keeping her shoulder blades on the box most of the time but the weight of her legs pulls them up here and there. That’s not a big deal and in fact shows she’s using control to keep from toppling off the end of the box.
