Amy Berger’s second class in her Standing Balance series progresses you in the weight shifting exercises you’ve been practicing. In this class you’ll begin to shift onto one leg. This exercise is key to maintaining balance because it builds strength, flexibility and awareness in your feet and hips. If you’re used to wearing shoes all the time you might discover your feet and hips aren’t used to moving through their full range of motion–know that you’re doing great things to restore them to complete function!
