In Part 2 of our interview with Cary Regan, who taught alongside Romana Kryzanowska starting in 1981, you'll hear stories of what Joe Pilates' former clients were like, how they were key in Cary's understanding of the method, including how to use her hands, the flow of the workout and more. She touches on Moira Stott, the length of the Reformers in the studio, changes in technique over time, her feelings about the class action lawsuit over the term Pilates, the dedicated student of Pilates and owner of Aris Isotoner, Larry Stanton who bought the Pilates Studio to save it from going under while Cary worked there, and lots more! Now a teacher for over 38 years, Cary still endeavors to teach the work of Joseph Pilates, so that the benefits, both preventive and rehabilitative, will become an integral part of our daily lives. You can find her currently at Uptown Pilates in NYC.
